After an unexpectadly good nights sleep on those foamy foam things we set off towards Larrasona (about 5.5 km away) leaving the mountains behind us for now. It´s one of the prettiest trails so far with lovely shaded paths along a river and through forests. After a really steep cobbled path we make our way into larrasona to the sound of cow bells around the necks of the local horses.
Today is the day of the Zs as we walk through Zurriain and Zabaldika. The second part of the day is alot more exposed, dusty trails lead us to Trinidad de Arre where we happen upon a street market and take a much needed break from the midday sun. We set off again walking through suburbs of Pamplona and into the city itself.
We enter the city through the "French Gate"...
And find our luxurious accomodation for the night at refugio in a converted church called ´Jesus and Maria´!
